Making a short animation
A short hand-drawn animation centered around the words: whirling, melting and decorative. These words were randomly assigned to me during this project, and I was free to interpret them however I liked. Especially the word decorative really fits my style of working, for example in my drawings. The animation consists of 202 frames, mostly hand drawn, but some frames were added digitally (such as the ending credits).
Process
I started by drawing and coloring all the frames of the animation on A5 paper sheets. After making the drawings I scanned all the sheets and digitally cleaned them. Some of the details of the animation I added digitally, such as the flower tattoo.
